Withdrawal of CPF contributions
Find out how to withdraw your Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions.
1. For those who have renounced their Singapore Citizenship or Permanent Residency, your Central Provident Fund (CPF) account will be closed in the month following the renunciation.
a) Upon account closure, any remaining savings will stop earning the prevailing CPF interest rate and your participation in the schemes administered by the CPF Board will be ceased.
b) To withdraw your CPF contributions, you may download the form here.
2. Please note that overseas applications and certifications of non-original documents must be witnessed and/or certified by an official at the High Commission. If you are based in Malaysia, you may book an appointment at https://calendly.com/shckl-appt, and walk-ins are not allowed. You must be present and bring along the following for your appointment:
a) CPF withdrawal form
i). [Note: Please do not sign on the form as it has to be signed in the presence of a consular officer]
b) Your old and current passports (Original)
c) Singapore Identity Card (if available)
d) Your original bankbook or statement if you wish to credit the CPF contributions to your bank account
e) Other supporting documents as stated on the CPF withdrawal form (Original and a photocopy)
